Inside the Studio.

When you join the studio, you will receive a newsletter each month with an invitation to a very cool monthly gathering. You will also have the option to add yourself to our member directory for more visibility.

You get to choose how and when you participate. Maybe you just read the newsletter. Maybe you come to the event each month. Either way, you will be a part of moca’s community, which means we’ll be cheering you on, making thoughtful introductions, and looking out for you. That’s what we do.

It’s great to be in a space with people who want the best for you — everyone cheers you on, offers helpful feedback, provides referrals, and the moca team consistently checks in. A special shout-out to Jess and Bethany — you’re fantastic.”

I have some questions…

Who is the studio for?

The studio is for business owners who want to build something meaningful and sustainable. They love their work and they love their life, and they want room for both.

Some of our members are just getting started in their businesses. Some have been at it for decades. We’re spread out across industries and across the world. It’s the way we work and what we’re working towards that brings us together.

What happens when I sign up?

When you join the studio, you’ll be added to our mailing list. Within a few moments, you’ll receive a welcome email (thank goodness for automations) with more information about the studio and an invitation to our monthly gathering.

Within a few days, you’ll get a second, more personal email coming directly from our Relationship Coordinator, Bethany. She’ll reach out to introduce herself, get to know you a bit, and see what kind of support would feel most helpful. If there’s someone you’d like to meet, or something your business is needing, she can help make thoughtful introductions. She’s also your go-to friendly face if you ever have questions.

Finally, Bethany will invite you to create a profile in our member directory. This helps her better understand your work and makes it easier to connect you with others in the community when opportunities arise.

Is it really free?

Yes, it’s completley free! That’s an intentional choice. We want to create a space where people can come together, and money feels like a silly barrier to put on it.

Join and attend our monthly event without any additional costs.

AND, you won’t be added to a sales funnel or receive constant promotions. We reach out monthly (that’s it) and occassionally it will have an invite to a paid event we’re putting on, with zero pressure.

Here’s our full disclaimer: moca also offers a small, invite-only, paid community experience for people who are in a season of wanting a different version of support. We occasionally invite particularly aligned individuals, but it’s not “the next step in the ladder” and we promise, you won’t be pressured to suddenly start paying us for our friendship.

How much of my time will this take?

Very little, by design.

We want this to be helpful. If we give you another constant task, how is that going to solve anything?

The studio is set up so that you can use it as you see need it. It’s an open studo. You can come as you please.

You might read the monthly newsletter. That could take 10-15 minutes, longer if you’d really like to dwell on the relatability of the content.

You might attend the monthly event, which is one wonderful hour long.

And you might just be here, existing in our community. Being a silent contributor to the new culture we’re building in the background. That’s totally fine.

We’re here when you need us, and that’s the point.

What is the member directory?

The member directory is an optional space where people can share a little about what they do and how to connect with them.

Listen, visibility is a pain in the butt. Most of you want more of it, and we know that. So we’re trying to create opportunities to make it happen. The member directory is a starting point for conversations and collaborations. It’s also how we get to know your work more easily so we can make thoughtful introductions when it makes sense.

You don’t have to be in it. But we’re likely to introduce you to more cool people if you are.
