Delores Edwards is an Emmy award-winning producer, journalist, visibility strategist, consultant, and media and story coach.
Delores applies her 20+ years of media experience and leadership expertise to empower women, companies, and organizations through strategic advising, media training, and content creation. Clients who work with her develop and discover their voices, refine their messages, and show up powerfully in the public eye, sharing their voice and vision with the world.
Her professional career began in news, producing content for national networks and local television programs, Nightline, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Good Day New York, and The Oprah Winfrey Show, covering stories about major news events and how they impact individuals and society.
She also produced and wrote profiles and features in the entertainment space for BET and VH1 featuring top musicians and artists, including Jennifer Lopez, Patti LaBelle, Wu-Tang Clan and the Rolling Stones.
Delores’ media knowledge and insight led her to executive produce two shows for public television, Basic Black and Open Studio, where she managed and oversaw stories centered on social justice, history, arts, and culture. She also spearheaded stories on thought leaders, politicians, and creatives, informing the public and introducing new voices to television and digital audiences. Delores was recognized for her direction, creativity and innovation, leading the programs, earning numerous awards and accolades.
